Dinner to Your Door

Dinner to your Door is a program that delivers nutritious meals to the homes of elderly, disabled or shut-in residents in Berea, Brook Park or Middleburg Heights. These meals include full dinners, salads, sandwiches and frozen dinners. We purchase these meals from the Cleveland Food Bank and the Strongsville Senior Center.

Delivery

Meals can be ordered for only one day of the week or for as many days of the week as the resident prefers.  Each meal costs either $6 or $10.

Meals are delivered to the home Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 1-3 p.m. Volunteers can knock on your door and hand you the meal or you can leave a cooler with ice pack out so the volunteer can safely store your dinner. During the warmer months, your cooler MUST have an icepack for us to safely leave your meal.

If a resident would like seven meals a week, they can order multiple meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The calendar of meals to choose from is below.

Payment

An invoice will be mailed at the end of each month and may be paid by check or money order made out to BCDC (Berea Community Development Corporation). When you receive the application (see below for printable version), make sure that you fill it out completely including the emergency contact. You can mail the application to BCDC at 398 West Bagley Road, Suite #3, Berea, OH 44017 or email to bco@cityofberea.org
