2. Thank you for participating in the Grindstone Festival Bike Decorating Contest!!

   Eligibility:

   Children of all ages welcome! All children must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

   Helmets are required for all participants.

   Rules:

   Judging begins at 3:00 p.m.; contestants must arrive between 2:45-3 p.m. at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Please enter off Eastland Rd. at the arch entryway.

   Contestants will each get a colored number to be placed on their bike

   All participants will do two laps around designated cones while judges score and deliberate.

   There  will be 1 winner in each of the three categories:

   * Most creative

   * Most patriotic

   * Best bike overall

   You may use streamers, pom-poms, ribbons, flags, pinwheels, etc.

   Decorations must not interfere with safe operation of the bike.

   Deadlines:

   Entry form must be submitted by 9 AM on Thursday, July 1, 2021. You may also email Megan Pochatek at mpochatek@cityofberea.org 

   Prizes:

   All participants will receive a goodie bag. 

   There will be a special prize for the winners of each category.

   Parade:

   All participants are invited and encouraged to show off their decorated bikes and ride in the parade.
