Overview

The City of Berea Civil Service Commission was established by the City Charter and shall provide the rules for ascertainment of merit and fitness as the basis for appointment and promotion of Police Officers and Firefighters and for the appeals from the action of the Appointing authority in any case of transfer, reduction or removal.
