Dinner to Your Door

Dinner to your Door is a program that delivers nutritious meals to the homes of elderly, disabled or shut-in residents in Berea, Brook Park or Middleburg Heights. These well-balanced meals include a protein, starch, vegetable, fruit cup and a dessert. Each meal is freshly prepared by the Grindstone Taphouse in Berea and costs $5.00 a piece.

Meals can be ordered for only one day of the week or for as many days of the week as the resident prefers.  Our caterer makes seven different meals each week.

Meals are delivered to the home Monday-Friday between 1:30-3:30 p.m. In order to social distance, you MUST leave a cooler and ice pack out so the volunteer can safely store your dinner.  The volunteer will knock and/or ring the doorbell to alert you of the delivery.

If a resident orders seven days of meals, Dinner to Your Door will deliver on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, which will include a meal for Saturday and Sunday.

We do not provide a calendar of meals.  The dinners include a wide variety such as pork kabobs, breaded or roasted chicken, meatloaf, roast beef, breaded fish filets, spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parmesan, pasta and much more.

An invoice will be mailed at the end of each month and may be paid by check or money order made out to BCDC (Berea Community Development Corporation). When you receive the application (see below for printable version), make sure that you fill it out completely including the emergency contact. You can mail the application to BCDC at 535 Wyleswood Drive, Berea, OH 44017 or email to bco@cityofberea.org
